The historic home, which was built
in 1890, was the residence of some of the great
pioneers of the Gold Coast, and is the home of owners
Bob and Helene Hutchinson

The acreage property, with its wonderful old
trees and natural beauty is located at
Merrimac, adjacent to Lakelands and Palm
Meadows golf courses and overlooking the
winding Gin House Creek.

An elegant older style timber chapel has
been added to the property in a typical
Queensland country setting, offering the
most exquisite photographic opportunities.

Braeside Chapel seats 90 persons, is fully
air-conditioned and is only 15 minutes from
Surfers Paradise and 1 hour from Brisbane.

Braeside is not available for wedding receptions.
Being centrally located on the Gold Coast, we can advise
on suitable reception venues (i.e.) golf course and club locations,
restaurants, and other interesting facilities all within
a short distance of the chapel.

The chapel is wheelchair friendly, and there is convenient off-street guest parking
on the lower level of the property. Wedding party parking is situated on
the upper level adjacent to the chapel.
